So far the only information I can find about the XJ11 Alternator replacement with the XS11 generator assembly says it is a direct replacement.
I have a '78 XS11 that I was looking at pulling the entire assembly off for now. There must be some other necessary modifications? The stator with the assembly is a 4-wire stator. What do I do with the 4th wire?
Is there any modification necessary for the Reg/Rect?
I'm about to head out to hit up some hardware stores looking for the M16x1.5 bolt to pull the rotors.
