So I had some fun today, changed oil and installed the new venture cam chain tensioner, easy as pie! Also when I was riding at wot the other day I was getting some pinging. I have just hooked a vacuum line to the advance so I figured I would check the timing , with line plugged I was at the f mark at idle and 40 degrees at 5800 rpm so I backed the advance down to 36 and she smoothed right out , still have to go for a hi speed run but that will have to wait till tomorrow
