    Howdy all...

I'm in the process of giving my XS some tlc, including a very awesome new paint job (pics coming as soon as parts are received back from painter, and bike is completed).

I have had in my possession 4 individual air cleaners for my carbs for quite a while now and I want to install them. Will rejetting be necessary? Although they are the slightly less popular foam/oil type with nice chrome ends, I think they'd look cool. Besides that damn air box is an ugly sight regardless that the genuine simulated chrome tape is still in good shape.

Since I have no plastic or metal on the bike right now, this would be the time to do it.

I've also been wanting to put a new clutch in. I've heard good and bad about the Barnett. Should I just go with a stock Yamie? Reason I want to change it is that I know it's slipping a bit, and for some reason I don't think I can adjust it properly via the instructions in the service manual / this websites set of tips.

I appreciate any feedback. It'd be easier for you to respond to my more widely used email at: sclonghairbadboy@aol.com
Only rarely do I browse XS11.com.

    Thank you much.
