I have an opportunity to buy both a XS1100 Special and a XJ1100 Maxim. Both are "complete" according to the owner but do not run. Both turn over, just need some work to get them going I guess. I like fixing things so I don't mind doing the work, but am not sure how hard parts are to find, etc.
He wants $600 a piece or $1100 for the pair. Any thoughts? Is this a good deal? Will I have trouble finding parts to get them going? Anyone have any suggestions or specific things to look for, etc? I appreciate any feedback.
