  • Tachometer woes

Well i finally got my tachometer assembled on my XS1100.It took 3 weeks for a housing from bikebandit.I guess thats how part places make their money by not selling you everything associated with the part.I got a tach from a guy named Shawn from S2 Wheel. He was one of several people that riderparts.com said had the part. Shawn said he would sell me everything associated with the tach, so all i would have to do was bolt everything on.Not true.Housing was missing and so were the 2 bolts, washers, and acorn nuts i needed. When i called Shawn up to complain,he said that he was not a mindreader, and he had the parts but they were more money. Thanks for nothing! But it is finally done!
