I, too, need a pan for my seat. I have a nice king/queen seat, but my pan is deteriated to the point of no return. It would be for a 1978E although the seat and pan on it came off of a '79 (I think special). It fits just fine. The seat and foam I have is also off of a '79 special and I know it will fit the pan, it matches everything there. If someone has one they want to part with, please let me know. This will be a winter restoration project so maybe requesting more parts in the near future. You guys have been great so far in tips and places to look for aftermarket stuff. TIA
