This, my friends, is my first motorcycle. Oddly enough, its styling looks a lot like the XS bikes.
I've been told that the engine looks like a knock off of an old Honda model. After a series of oil abuse (too little, then too much) I officially froze the piston. Maybe someday I'll take the engine apart and see if there is any hope.
I bought it in UT from a guy whose brother bought it in City of Industry, CA. Official make is: RCM. Model: RCM-50GL. It's a 2004. I have never seen anything else like it made after the mid '85s. I have never met anyone who has ever heard of them before either.
That seat hurts after 5 minutes. But for a 50cc, it was pretty fun. Only weighed 180, and had four gears, so I could get it up to 40, 50 down hill (I do not recommend doing this; I thought I was going to die). Also, all 4 gears are down, instead of the usual down one up 4 set up. I still find myself trying to switch into second by pushing down sometimes.
Though the bike is a cheap Chines hunk-a-junk, it got me hooked on the experience of riding bikes, especially ones that look like they're from the early 80s with plenty of chrome....hmmm, I wonder what other bikes are like that?
