Here what i was given a 1970 R5. It a mess, got spark,clean gas tank,piston & cylinder look good. now for the not so good wire harness is shot strip and cut and splice all over. and one carburetor is missing. Now for the knowledge you have, the one carb i have has 5 port in the engine side of the carb throat. there are a few model that used the same carb (VM28SC) but most have 3 port not 5 the rd have i belive a oil inj. in the throat the r5 has a port inj oil so can i use a carb off a rd or a yr. This is my winter proj. as our winter are long.
