I recently acquired a non-running 1995 Arctic Cat Bearcat 550 snowmobile. Pulled the flywheel, of the two bolts that are supposed to hold the stator plate, on had broken off and the other was loose. Components on the plate and the flywheel magnets were damaged.
New stator components are not bad to buy new, consists of a primary ignition coil pack and a lighting coil, but the flywheel is expensive.
If anyone has, or has access to, or knows somwone who has access to used Arctic Cat parts, I need the following items:
Item 11: Flywheel (rotor), original part number 3003-934 upgraded to 3004-979. (Used on several mid-90's carburated Arctic Cats, inclusing the ZR 580. EFI Cats used a different flywheel.) Flywheel may also have FP5448 stamped on it.
Stator plate, or components, part number 3003-976 upgraded to 3004-833. I really need just the lighting coil, item 2, part number 3003-013. These parts also used in other Arctic Cat models.
Will also need a Helicoil or Permathread kit for metric thread, somthing like 8 x 1.50 mm.
Would appreciate any help!
