            Ooooh that's nice!

I'd give anything for that exhaust.

Here's mine, I'm currently getting the chrome engine guards powdercoated gold to match. I need to get rid of the silly looking grips and the childish rearview mirrors. If the gold powdercoat comes out looking good, I'm thinking about doing the same thing with the chrome springs on the rear shocks. Do you guys think that's a good idea or should I stick more to the original?

Ok, I found a swatch that I think matches the Midnight Special gold. I'm having it powder coated now and will let you all know how it turns out. Here's a picture of what I chose. Fingers crossed that it's at least a close match.

I got my engine guards back from the powder coating. I'm not overly impressed with the match. It certainly doesn't match the swatch that I chose. But I'm going to live with it at least for now.

Take my feeback with a grain of salt as I am the ultimate purist when it comes to MNS. Those would look my better had you done them in a mirror gloss black. I have done all mine that way and the high gloss black looks like they were installed from the factory. Click image for larger version Name:	81LH_1.jpg Views:	0 Size:	159.6 KB ID:	867769

                              Looks good, Marty!

I'm going to put the carburetors back in my XJ so I'll have something to ride.
