  • A "Twisted" Goodbye

Well, it looks as though several group members are letting their XS's go lately. Yesterday I joined that group.
I sold Twisted to a coworker. After I bought my Royal Star last summer, Twisted sat neglected in my garage and
I couldn't stand to see sit there and not be ridden like she needs to be. This will be the 5th owner from the same
plant where I work that has owned this bike. At least I will be able to visit her once and awhile. I plan on staying
a member of this fine group and hopefully will try to attend any rallies in the NW area in the future. Through all
the miles and journeys she has been a good ride. Even after the "left turn idiot" who left me with a twisted front
end and scrambling for parts, she came back together and carried me for over 14,000 miles in the next 14 months.
I will always have a special place in my heart for the XS's, but it's time to move on.
