I know of one former member who managed $8300 for his '82 XJ1100J Maxim on Ebay a while back.......

(and it was worth every penny, too!)

yeah I still have some good pics of 'Zilla... BTW the trend here in the states has been going upwards in value...especially in the past year...Its nice to see as an owner... for buyers not so good...

I agree, average over here is 1500 to 2500 GBP, don't no what that converts to but have gone up 500GBP in the last year. there is one keeps showing up for 6995GBP but it keeps showing up! There is no doubt the market had started to appreciate them here, just glad I bought mine when I did.

Keeping these bikes as original as possible and in tip top shape does add value. They are bringing more $ now than they were just a few years ago.
