Yeah, it's gone up here too (1.99 US/ gallon as of yesterday). Thank goodness for grocery store reward cards... I still get at least .10 a gallon off each time.

Brian, all prices are US -
Bread - 1.99 to 2.99
Milk - 3.00/ gallon
Butter - 2.50 - 4.00/ pound
Meat - $4/ pound at the least expensive... even hot dogs (REALLY?!??!)
Thank you all again! It's been interesting to see the responses.Leave a comment:

Went up 35 cents a gallon here. The reason,my toilet backed up.But I think they say it is BP is not drilling and laying people off due to losing money at the price per barrel is too low.Leave a comment:

OK, I'm BELOW the average for my profession, it's $65K, at $52K per year. House payment is $1,700 month, Road Pilot 3 GT is $200 online for the BMW, about once per year. Wife's income does help, but it's smaller than mine by a lot.....
ground beef is $3.99 per pound, or about $8.50 per Kilo. Veggies are cheap, as most are grown year-round within 50 miles of us.Leave a comment:

Just for interest sake, lets go a little bit Einstein here and talk about relativity
so i can get a picture of where is the most expensive, here or there..
What do you guys pay for everyday grocery items? stuff like bread, milk, butter, meat, etc? and whats the average salary?
According to the Government our average salary is around 55k, but im not sure where that figure comes from, as the reality is that its closer to 45k. I earn 60k, and i pay $330 for a bridgestone battleaxe on the back of my XJR (twice a year)Leave a comment:

I run Premium in the BMW and the wife's car. Chevron is $2.79 at the "cheap" station, and $2.89 Gallon at most others. That puts Regular, ALL with ethanol, at about $2.49 for "good" gas, and $2.39 for cheap....Leave a comment:

Price never got to under $2 here in South Florida. Been just above it and now it bounced up about 10 cents the other day. Hope it's just a short correction and we get to see some sub $2 here. But it's a welcome change from when it was around $4.Leave a comment:

I am too lazy to calculate so you have to do that yourself Kat
Here in Holland our regular fuel (95) dropped from 1.80 euro per liter to 1.40 per liter. But I do my refuelling in Belgium (10mls from my house), overthere it costs 1.15 euro per liter at this moment.Leave a comment:
