I've been on a Leave from work for 6 months due to a rotator cuff surgery. I've been back for 4 days. 3 days ago my Foreman had a mint 1981 XS1100 with a Kerker 4 into 1 and a mint factory exhaust system he got free from a war buddy. He told me last night that he took the Kerker off and installed the factory system and sold it to a co-worker for $300.00. Nobody knew what they had or bought. I told him that I saw Bob Jones sell a mint factory exhaust system for $1,000.00 U.S.
I got ahold of the guy to get the bike back with cash or trade. No reply yet as we got disconnected. So the Kerker is hanging on the Foreman's garage wall in great shape. Trying to at least get the Kerker from him.
The guy hasn't paid him yet as he still has the title. Runs perfect with very low miles should bring over $3,500.00 not $300.00. LOL
