Knee pads

Does it really matter, those pads are really for you to be on your knees when you explain to your better half what it will cost for a new bike or repair after the crash.

"Or should they be lowered to protect knee cap from impact and road debris while in the riding position? "
The pads should be lowered, as you suspect.
It's a small job for a tailor to lower the pad pockets or add new ones over the existing. I had this done, and it put the pads where I want them. Just pull the pad out of the pocket and while wearing the suit and sitting on a chair at the tailor's, place it over your kneecap where you want it, and the tailor will chalk the location.

Well at least it was better than the subject matter I feared when I first saw the query. Images of a mens prison came to mind.

Hi Nubian,What is the ideal position for the knee pads? I noticed today while sporting my new Olympia Phantom suit on it's maiden voyage that the pads rode very high in the riding position, made me think if i were to spill where would i want the pads positioned for optimum protection.

I am not sure what you are asking. Do you mean the armour (armor) on the inside of the suit or sliders on the outside of the suit?
