But, it could backfire... depending on how 'PC' literate she is...


Since you know my current situation as you do... I'm the last to try to give ya any advice. In fact, my new 'favorite saying' these days has become "what do I know?"


But, after 28 years w/ the same woman, I did figure out that a lot of times when I 'thought' I had won some arguement... in the end I really lost.

I finally figured out, (too late, I'm afraid,) they always win the arguements... one way or another.

Sounds like though, if you can end it w/ laughter... you're on the right track.
Let me know how that works out for ya... just be careful...

you got your wits about you and your on a good track if it ends in a good laugh and ability to revisit it in a civil tone. (I never win any arguments, at least that's the way I always see it) so I'm probably the last one that should be giving advice. hey maybe there should be another forum topic "The Doctor Is In" or "Days of Our Wives" or "As the World Ruins" and post lifes problems and "see can we get some hep up in here"?

Arguments aren't about who wins it's about what gets said or not. If you don't understand or get what is said then it ain't said right. Maybe you should have linked it directly to the dialogue you heard verbatim and that's saying it pretty clear. Then again maybe it's better she doesn't hear what your saying. forgive and forget or every time you have an argument your gonna end up watching dvr days re-runs to see if your arguments been scripted.

Well, I always win. At least that's what I keep telling myself. I am doing my best to keep the DVR full of motorcycle shows, so DOOL won't record...its not working out all that well....

So, I looks in the history of the web browser, and she is looking for the trick to change stuff like that. Whne she figures it out, XS11.com with redirect to some harley site, I know it. Then we will have a good laugh, and hopefully be able to breech the subject of arguing with Ms. Sweeney in a more pleasant manner.

First off I have to admit, I have never been one that likes soap operas. There is no love lost there at all.

So last night I was reminiscing about our last argument, me and SWMBO. While she was watching the DVR'd Days, I started hearing, verbatim mind you, a lot of the lines SWMBO used in said argument. I was not really happy about that. After all, if I wanted to argue with Allison Sweeney, I would go friggen marry her.

So, there is a forum board for Ejami, what ever the heck that is, that she frequents. As far as I can tell, its for fans of a couple in Days of our Lives (or lack there of) which are not supposed to be a couple, since they are both married to someone else. With a quick edit of the hosts file on my machine, now the Ejami site takes her to Democrats.org, which is nearly as detestable to her as infidelity is to me.

So, bad joke, or am I just a mean person that should be committed next to the other great criminal minds of the recent past?
