These cats will be indoor cats. They will have an exercise wheel to keep their energy levels in check. They are a pretty new breed as cats go. They have a life span of 17 to 20 years with no known health issues reported to date for the breed. We can hardly wait to get them.

Wow 2 pretty kitties...I have been a cat owner all of my life...My observations on a cat's longevity... depends upon if the cat lives its life indoors or outdoors. My conclusion is that indoor cats will far exceed the lifespan of an outdoor cat. I have learned this the hard way. If you truly love them and care then you will never allow them outside. So many hazards out there...other animals ..pissed off neighbors,cars...sicko people. etc... Its a dangerous world out there.Leave a comment:

Temperament
In the fifties I lived with friends of my Dad for a couple years.
Dell had a big black cat (about 15 pounds called “Boots”).
When it was out of the house sometimes it would lay in wait from under the car. It liked to go after kids on bikes .
Would have been even better if he could have fetched em too.

Temperament is considered to be good. Like a domestic cat but function more like a dog. They like to play fetch, can be trained as quickly as a dog, like to be walked on a leash and love water. It's not uncommon for them to join you in the shower or swim around in a full tub.

Yeah, she does have big paws eh. She will grow to between 13 and 20 pounds but 15 to 17 is more likely as an F5 kitten. The markings are awesome for sure. Body shape is also somewhat different then typical domestic cats which adds to the "out of the jungle" appearance when they grow up. These Savannah cats are pretty new in the cat world. Earlier litters like F1 and F2 can reach 25 to 30 pounds with one recorded at 40 pounds!!! Those are way out of my budget to say the least. Can you imagine having a wild looking cat like this that weights 30 pounds wondering around the house??? I have seen them at 20 and 25 pounds and they are rather large for their weight. they tend to be tall and slender so even at 25 pounds they can stand 18 inches tall.
