Just found a 78E for sale couple of towns over. Has original 3 Vetter bags, windshield not fairing, original seat in good shape, 12k miles. Needs front tire (maybe tube too) and last year when I tested it at the previous owner's place it was a little rough below 4000RPM, above that it was a rocket. Might need fork seals, and fork oil change. Has original header and mufflers, muffs have been patched on the bottom from water accumulation. Otherwise pretty clean. Kid wants $1500US, might move a little on that. Anyone interested I can chase down more info, test ride it, give you a phone number, whatever. Located near Sheffield, PA.
Previous owner had let it sit for a couple of years, from the mileage it sat a lot anyway. The current owner bought it to ride, but has gotten into a custom chopper rebuild, and is going to motorcycle repair school in the fall, so he needs to sell it.
