Hood Canal Bridge closure.

I thought I had better post a reminder to any locals or not so locals, that May 1st. is the first day for the Hood Canal Bridge closure, and the only route onto the eastern end of the Olympic peninsula for the next 6 weeks will be old hwy.101 around the western side of the canal, and even though it is a premier bike road, for the first 6 weeks of summer it will be a premier parking lot. all the traffic that usually takes hwy.104 will be using 101 along with all the summer tourist and returning snowbirds, who usually spend the summer clogging it up with their R.V.s , so if you are planing a trip up here plan accordingly.
