Fellow xs,xj members there is a longtime member that can fix the TCI, Ignition box units inexpensively. I picked up a xj550 maxim to add to the stable and after going through the nonrunning issue it was narrowed down to the "Black Box." I read Randy Rago's site to repair it and it worked. It was a burnt copper connector I bridged with solder.
Randy offered to fix at a great price, so if anyone needs the box analyzed and fixed Randy's site is up and he responds quickly for repairs.....another great xs member willing to share his expertise. Ride on, Mike in San Diego
