Help from a Cleveland Area Enthusiast

I'm looking at buying a '78 XS1100 from a gentleman in Eastlake Ohio. I would, of course, like to check it out before I buy it, but since I live in South Carolina, it would be nice not to drive 10 hours to see the bike and discover that I've wasted my time. If someone in the area has some free time, I was wondering whether they could go see the bike and give me an impartial evaluation. It would be a huge help to me, before I commit to spend two days going to see and purchase the bike. I would be more than willing to provide compensation to anyone willing to do this.
