I know this is short notice, but I just found out about it myself today. This notice is for all the strongman fans in the northwest Washington area. There will be a world class strongman competition tomorrow 5/3/08 from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 in Sequim, Wa. this competition has been an annual event for the past 2 years, but this year it will Honor the competition's founder Jesse Marunde, who died last summer at the age of 27 after an exercise session in his gym in preperation for the upcoming world campionship. As the worlds second strongest man in 2005 he was a world class competitor in his own right and a true spokesman for the sport. And this year his friends , and fellow competitors ,10 of them world class, are going to honor him at this event in his home town. So if you ever wanted to see a strongman competition close up, this is your chance, it will be held in the parking lot of Tarcisio's Restaurant between 5th and 7th streets.
