Going to sell 78 St E
Hey gang... I'll just get to the point...
I've got a 1978 XS 1100 Standard E that I'm going to sell soon (probably come October) and I wanted to see if anyone on here would be interested first. I live in Ohio - so take that into consideration of course.
The bike itself is in great shape. 4 into 1, blacked-out, nice clean bike (for being nearly 30 yrs old). It runs good - had the carbs synched earlier this summer. I've been riding it weekly on average with no complaints about the performance! Good title with historical plates. It is one rare bike - that's fore sure!
With that said I'm going to ask $1,500 to start. Let me know if you might be interested and I can send pics. Next step will be ebay, but I wanted to ask the XS enthusiasts first.
And in case you were wondering... I'm selling b/c winter is coming and I need room in the garage. Besides I'm looking into a newer bike for next year - I'm not a mechanic so the older bikes aren't as good for me.
