    Greg,
    Wasn't that I ignored you...
Had my hands full at the time with my mom...she fell and broke her leg, and the following week was the beginning of her catarac surgeries.
Taking her for her checkup exam today...
So far, that's been 8 different trips to South Tulsa, alone.
Then there's been the trips for her leg...
Then all the bill paying, groceries, errands....

No time for fun time in South Carolina for me this year.
    Maybe next year...?

Cody couldn't this time because of all his personal stuff that was happening.
Just wasn't in the cards. Bad timing for us.
Shame I missed seeing your attempt at testing out an XS11 as a dual-sport, huh? Sounds like it was a wild ride!
Sorry you got hurt, bro. That sucks.
    Glad you survived!

I've been wanting to take a weekend ride to either Eureka, or Talimena, or both if I could get free to do it....before it gets too cold.
Weather's already starting to change though. Talimena Drive sucks when it's foggy, ya know!

    We'll see, I guess.

Hope you heal fast, and things get better for you soon.
    Bob

    Update about mom...
She had her second eye surgery yesterday.
    All went great!
Took her for her 1 day post-op checkup today.
    20/20!

Now, to get her leg healed up, and it's off to the hearing dr. next!
    Bob
Sorry for your loss. Good that you are there for your mother now. Plan on being busy for a while. Keep in touch. Ride when you can.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. My mom passed august 25th and it has been horrible for me. I was a mammas boy and she was my best friend. I have been having a lot of panic attacks because I am the administrator and it is a lot of stress. Hang in there, at least there are no more surgeries and pain. We will all be together some day.

    Dad

Sorry to hear about your loss.
Always a shock when it actually happens.
Good tho to remember the good times / chats.
My dad rode a 16H Norton among other bikes.

    Thanks, guys.

    Tomorrow's Mom's big day.
Hopefully, when all is done in the next couple of weeks,
She'll at least be able to see how black and blue her broken left leg is!

My dad passed in July, still want to talk to him about my bikes, he was a supporter of all my bike fixing. He got me started with a 51 HD at 14 even though he never rode he loved to see what I could do, turds to jewels.

Remember the good and what he was to you and family, you to him.

Hope your mom recovers well ! All the best ! Don };~)

So sorry for the loss of your Dad Bob. No matter how much we are ready, we are never truly ready to lose someone.

Hope your Mom's surgery goes well, and her leg heals quickly.
