1979 XS11 Special for sale, I was going to try and get this back in to prime shape. When I got it it was running pretty well but I wanted to basically do a rebuild on carbs and replace the rubber mounts to the engine along with just getting it back up to its former glory. It's been in storage for a couple of years as I did not know what direction I wanted to go with this bike. A couple of months back I rebuilt the petcocks and fuel pump diaphragm. I bought carb kits and new rubber mounts for the carbs. I couldn't remove one of the pilot jets out in the float bowl and along with an accident that broke the arm off one of the petcocks told me what I basically knew. It's time to sell it to concentrate on first love, adv riding, dirt and travel. So I want someone who will do what I'm giving up on. Getting this thing back up and running, so I'm selling it to put that money in to my 2010 ktm 990 adventure. I have the carb rebuild kits and the new carb mounts, 2 new oil filters, a new in the box rear tube and rear seat backrest/rack. It will need to be trailered as it needs tires. I have not tried starting it as I'm not spending money on a battery or figuring out a petcock fix. Looking to get $500 for it. Located in Loveland Colorado.
