What I have is a 1979 XS1100 SF. Custom painted tank ($1000) and 15" apes. All new cables. I had my old shop change the fluids when installing the apes, as they made the cables to fit, I took off and everything was grand! Three days later of riding to and from work I lost power and when I pulled over she was pouring oil. Apparently they stripped the plug. No worries. I took it to a good shop to once over and let me know what was going on as I'm still new to this due to deployments and the nipple on the riders left side was missing. so I was succking in air, and now have a dime size hole in the piston. So that being said.......for sale as is. Other than the issue of the piston, this is and has been a great bike. always gets comments on how great it looks. I have pics, just PM me and I'll shoot them to you. Best offer that can pick it up get's it. Im in the Brunswick, Ga area.
